my journey to becoming a reiki practitioner
about juliet
Both my parents suffered from chronic back pain, and as a teenager I was able to ease their pain by giving them massages - my first insight into healing hands! I began training as a physiotherapist, however, after the first year of detailed study of anatomy and physiology, I realised the scientific side of physio was not for me. Whilst I thrived on working with patients and the opportunity to make people better, I changed direction and instead worked for various charities, and in sport.
After receiving my first Reiki treatment, I was so amazed by the power of Reiki that I knew it had to be a part of my life. Not only does it help others, but it gives me a wonderful sense of fulfilment and has once again allowed me to use my hands for healing.
I qualified as a Reiki practitioner in 2018, and am a Reiki Master/Teacher.
I also have a Reiki Diploma, which is the highest professional recognition for Reiki practitioners in the UK, meeting National Occupational standards. I am registered with the government approved Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). This is recognised by the NHS, and allows me to work in hospitals.
When I’m not practising Reiki, I spend time walking my lively cocker spaniel, Harley. I also enjoy playing tennis, and baking.

Reiki Fix
I’m a strong believer in fate. And whilst you can’t sit on the sofa waiting for fate to happen, there’s a time, place and reason for most things. Why have you clicked on this website today? Why here, why now?
Why Reiki Fix? Many of my clients say at the end of their session – “I need to book in for my next fix of Reiki”. So come for your first fix, your next fix, come to mend and repair. Or just let curiosity take over and see what Reiki can do for you.
Fix (verb) - repair / focus / stabilise
